They have gone from Sippie cups.
A Long Island Hoters has discovered a way to prosper while the rest of the Sexy dining chain faces corporate bankruptcy and financial failures, to be familiar.
Faringdale’s location is no longer just a place for Bros and businessmen to show little dressed waitresses, but also a location for team celebrations and family dinners, and where children are even known to use pencils to attract their own “ housers girls ”, said cooking interiors.
“We have so many families who come in. Children’s birthday parties, this is a huge thing here … people like to celebrate birthdays,” the Barta Liana Pirragia, a girl in the Hooters calendar, told the publication.
“I’ve had girls after they were going to make a shop shopping dress on the blog.”
Staff still wearing famous Hoters dresses, but Faringdale’s location has a more atmosphere like an Applebee or Chili thanks to the local community, who does not seem to worry about the famous chain reputation and just like to go to eat.
“What is fun from Hoters is that sometimes your reputation precedes you … a reputation that is not 100% exact,” said Dan Gadbois, director of Housers New York and New England on Long Island’s site. He called the location the “spine” of the north -East for Hoters.
“We have many couples, and families and women entering: they only have chicken wings and a cold drink and love the great service.”
Friendly neighborhood.
Children are known for enjoying the establishment, according to Pirragria, which made them “so sweet”.
“I like when girls draw a photo to me or draw their own Hoters girl,” said the bartender of the collection of beautiful art works.
It is also a home take thanks to his presence of “Youth Sports”, said Gadbois, a former assistant director of the chain in Albany.
“We see a lot of sports teams,” he said. “One of the most important things we see is a baseball team or a baseball tournament … they have a wing party and celebrate their victory that day.”
And, Pirragria, he boasted that most customers are in the first name with staff with low caps and tight oranges.
“Create this good friendship with many clients, feel that it is a special thing or as if they were going to see a friend,” he said.
“Even a slow Monday, they still make the effort to come.”
The love of Li for the Gauls moved the server Faringdale Anette Valenzuela to say: “This is the best job I have ever had.”
“I’ve made so many friends,” he said with a smile. “I love my managers, I love the environment, I love people.”
The unconventional approach, more than anything else, is why the staff say that the usual ones have been keeping the lights on the place outside the route 110, which is, ironically, a few minutes from two strip clubs.
The competitor tilted Kilt once he tried to incorporate at Hoters’ location about a decade ago, but the locals would not literally buy it, as the chain quickly closed its establishment.
“Long Island customers have been very faithful to us over the years,” Gadbois said.
Pirragria even recalled that Faringdale’s phone rang the hook last spring, as panic patterns needed the assurance that the dining room would not be folded at the presentation of the bankruptcy.
“At first there was a lot of hysteria,” he said. “I think it was a great relief for many people we were open.”
Birds of a pen
Farmingdale shares his exceptional success with another location to a few kilometers west of the Long Island Expressway, in Queens, where the Fresh Meadows Hoters are also hung.
“I’ve done over $ 2,000 in tips in one night,” said Fresh Meadows Sever Ashely Diana, praising his regular customers to shower -regularly with cash.
Fresh meadows thrives especially during the summer as a hot place for hot wings thanks to its popular outdoor playground. It is also conveniently located by an AMC movie theater that attracts people to their favorite Hoters’ chicks after their hand -strokes, explained the director.
“Hoters of America obviously had mass financial problems,” Gadbois said, “but [these two] They have been firm. “”
